We are an impact and sustainable finance platform for Global Development Goals with a focus on Africa’s frontier markets. We enable better business by reshaping finance into a force for good through promotion of sustainable investment practices. With these efforts we contribute to the vision of just, resilient, sustainable economies and societies.
We recognize that the world is now at an inflection point: where the role of finance is under scrutiny and finance is expected to play a critical role in the realization of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) in order to create a more sustainable, equitable, and prosperous world. In order to get there, investors must adapt their strategies to deliver not only financial results, but positive social and environmental outcomes as well. We also know that to prosper over time, every company must deliver not only financial performance, but also positive contribution to society. Africa as a continent will be better served by capital and business that aligns corporate purpose with profit goals. We are here to help along the work streams below:
Impact Management: We provide support to Finance Institutions, investors, enterprises, Private Equity and Venture Capital Funds, Foundations, regulators in the application of principles and tools for integration of Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) criteria and in measurement and management of impact. We advocate for elevation of Sustainable Finance beyond niche and mainstream to mandated.
Impact intelligence: We Provide unparalleled insight into local industries, enterprises, and development projects that advance the SDGs through a mapping of SDG-enabling investment opportunities and conditions in target markets and sectors. With this we aim to resolve supply-side inefficiencies that prevent more meaningful flows of capital into purposeful investments.
Impact facilitation: In partnership with our public service delivery solutions, we support development partners, and investor networks to catalyze local solutions through various platforms such as investor and stakeholder convening - building cross-sector connections with a focus on identifying and creating investment opportunities as well as matchmaking and identifying targeted initiatives to surface investable pipelines of SDG-enabling businesses.

Resilience programming
International humanitarian and development organizations and even governments have now embraced resilience as an overarching theme. Our approach to resilience building relies on integrated programming—a cross-sectoral approach with a long-term commitment to improving the three critical capacities: absorptive capacities (risk management), adaptive capacities (longer-term livelihood investments), and transformative capacities (improved governance and enabling conditions).
We support development actors to program with an integrated approach - emphasizing cross-sectoral programming supports and protecting a core programming focus (for example, health, food security, poverty, peace building and ultimately strengthening resilience.

Institutional Strengthening
In both the public and private sectors, the effectiveness of institutions is measured by how far the organization meets its goals and stays relevant to the wider development goals that are shared.
At Bridge Africa ADC, we will work with institutions to strengthen and build capacity across vital institutional growth and development areas in developing tools, policies and skills in;
We do these for NGOs, Legislatures, Public Organizations, Private Sector, Media and Local and National Governments. In our knowledge management technical support for example, we support organizations, governments and private sector to create and manage change by providing analytics and advice to help them tackle their most pressing challenges. This means helping clients to know more about the opinions, attitudes and behavior of people, be they employees, customers and even citizens.
What really gives us our edge is the way that we combine fresh, new ways of thinking with very high levels of technical expertise in key areas like governance, media, agriculture, health, public services, energy and water resources management. Once we help clients to capture the knowledge they create, we help them to design systems and tools that ensure they can access this knowledge when they need it.

Strengthening Public Service Delivery
When we began, our objective of strengthening public service delivery was only aimed at strengthening legitimacy, inclusiveness and effectiveness of governments both at national and local level, so that governments are more responsive to the needs of their people. This was necessary but insufficient.
We have since learnt that it is not only governments who are faced with the challenge of staying relevant to the needs of people. Even Civil Society Organizations in their routine programing, Private Sector in their corporate social responsibilities, donors, foundations and high net worth individual donors all share this challenge be it in quality access to health, education, natural resources management, access to infrastructure, name it.
Once we connect with you, our task will be to support you to adopt breakthrough development innovations at scale to enable you reach hundreds, thousands and even millions of people. You’ll be surprised at the results we are getting for example in our flagship STRIDE training program that focuses on Public Private Partnerships and Improving Management of Public Finance Revenues.

Governance, Public Policy and Law Making
Did you know for example, that the ineffectiveness of government institutions, rampant corruption and weak rule of law have a 30-to-45 percent higher risk of creating conflict in our societies? In fact, among nations, no poor fragile or conflict-ridden state achieved a single UN Millennium Development Goal.
Across the world, law is a major instrument of public policy. Now, through this expanded portfolio of work, we support decision makers to gain the practical skills and knowledge necessary to design and implement policies and laws that shape the lives of people, address inequalities, respect rights and promote economic growth. Our work in accountable governance, public finance and budget making is also undertaken in this portfolio.
At the same time, we also strengthen the capacity of non-state actors such as civil society and private sector players to influence and advocate for more responsive public policies, how to work with policy makers and lead policy change processes.
